Lake Travis TE Cade Brewer Commits To Texas

Brewer is a three star recruit, but definitely helped his star rating during Lake Travis’s playoff run, which featured beatdowns of some very excellent teams. He’s been making plays all over the field for LT for years now, and he’ll definitely fit in Herman’s plans for the Longhorns.

The Austinite snagged 7 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown in Lake Travis’s dominating win over The Woodlands in the state finals, and caught three touchdowns the week before in a semifinal bout with Humble Atascocita. He’s an athletic guy on an athletic squad, and he’s a major get for any program.
