When the Cowboys take the field on Sunday, they’ll do so with the knowledge that they won’t have to take on Jordy Nelson, Green Bay’s leading receiver.

McCarthy says jordy Nelson will not play on Sunday vs. cowboys.

It was originally thought that losing Jordy Nelson would be a huge blow to the Packers, but Randall Cobb has been more than a good replacement. Cobb is still struggling with an ankle injury, but he played through it last week to the tune of five catches for 116 yards and three touchdowns.
So, Jordy Nelson being out won’t affect the Packers too much, as long as Cobb is healthy. A healthy Cobb could present some problems, but to be frank, Aaron Rodgers will make almost any wide receiver look good. If the Cowboys are going to take home this win, they’ll need to shut down Rodgers in addition to all his weapons at wideout.
