Another Texan in the NFL has secured a home for at least another year, and this time it’s Christine Michael, who came from Beaumont West Brook.
RB Christine Michael has re-signed with the Packers, per @FieldYates.

At one point, Michael was a 5-star prospect, and the winner of the Walter Payton trophy, given to the best high school athlete. He signed with Texas A&M, and was the Big 12’s Offensive Freshman of the Year. Michael later had to have surgery in 2010 for a cracked tibia, an injury that would plague him throughout his college career.
Christine Michael has had a great pro career thus far, despite never being on the top end of NFL running backs in terms of yardage. He won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks, he’s played for the Dallas Cowboys, he’s had a 100-yard rushing day in a start, and he’s started a playoff game.
Currently, he’s with the Packers, and with his signing, he’ll have a shot for at least another year.
