One of the most recognizable kickers in the NFL has decided to call it a career. As first reported by Brent Martineau of Action News Jax, Josh Scobee will retire as a Jacksonville Jaguar. Scobee confirmed his decision on Friday.

The former Longview Lobo kicker had a stellar career in college at Louisiana Tech and in the pros. Originally a fifth-round pick back of Jacksonville in 2004, Scobee became one of the most consistent and recognizable faces for the franchise he played for 11 seasons. He also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints.

Scobee retires as Jacksonville’s all-time leader in points and field goals made.
