With their quarterback situation uncertain heading into 2017, the Minnesota Vikings have reportedly brought in another arm for some depth. On Friday, reports had surfaced that Minnesota had signed Case Keenum to provide some backup depth behind Sam Bradford.

Per ESPN’s Adam Caplan, Keenum’s deal is for one year and $2 million.
Keenum spent last season with the Los Angeles Rams where he began the season as the starting quarterback but was later replaced by the top overall pick from the 2016 NFL Draft in Jared Goff.
The former Abilene Wylie and University of Houston quarterback has also spent time with the Houston Texans. With Teddy Bridgewater still recovering from a leg injury he suffered in training camp last year, this may indicate that the Vikings are looking to play it safe with him.
