If you like BBQ, hightail it to Lufkin right now. Dez Bryant bought $16,000 worth of BBQ from Pinkerton’s and is planning to host a massive party in a Lufkin park.

The Lufkin native might be throwing the party of the year today. If you still can, get to Lufkin and enjoy some BBQ, drinks, and some kickball before Bryant and the rest of the Cowboys head off to camp.
In the past two years, Bryant’s all-world production has dropped off. He went from catching 88 passes in 2014 to catching a mere 81 in 2015 and 2016 combined. The Cowboys have still been wildly successful during Bryant’s tenure, but it may be hard to justify his high salary if he doesn’t start becoming much more visible on the stat sheet. Everything else he does is fine, he blocks, he runs routes that free up others, but when the Cowboys need an impact player, they need Bryant to be around.
