4A Fan Vote RB of the Year
Vote for the 4A Running Back of the Year.
The top 2 in votes will make the 4A All-Texas Team.
The top 10 in overall votes throughout all of our 4A polls will be in the 4A Player of the Year vote. This means, that even if a player finished third or fourth in their position vote, if they are in the top 10 overall of all votes in their division, they will still be in the Player of the Year Vote. The top vote-getter in our Player of the Year Polls will be Mr Texas HS Football.

If there is a player that we missed that should be in the poll, email [email protected] and include poll name and player name in the subject line, then the players’ school and statistics in the email. We have various statistical thresholds for each poll, but occasionally some statistics from some schools might be limited and cause a player to be missed, and some schools do not provide statistics. We use a tool through MaxPreps to sort statistics, so if you go to MaxPreps and don’t see your school’s statistics, we might not have them either. A rule of thumb is if a player is statistically the best in their district and did not make the list, reach out. If the player was not the best statistically in their district, we are unlikely to add them.
We have several security measures built into the poll. If you’re new to our polls, you might be surprised at how many votes players can get in a short period of time. We are able to detect any abnormal voting and any attempt at automated voting. We have not had any such activity in any of our end-of-season polls. We’ve had the Willis, Allen, Atascocita, and Aledo fan bases drive over 10k votes in an hour this year, and the Lorena, China Spring, and Melissa fan bases able to drive over 50k in one day. Last year, we had a player get their future college involved in voting, and they drove over 300k votes.
