The season that Aledo senior quarterback Dillon Davis continues to be a special one. After going 16-0 and leading the Bearcats to their seventh state title with a 24-16 win over Corpus Christi Calallen, Davis was named Built Ford Tough 5A Player of the Year on Saturday.

On the season, Davis threw for 3,769 yards and 45 TDs in his final season as the Aledo signal caller. Davis also committed to Columbia University in New York to continue his playing career. He officially signed his National Letter of Intent to the Lions on National Signing Day last Wednesday.
