Allen Eagles End Regular Season On A High Note

Round Rock Hail Roof Inspection

On Thursday night the Allen Eagles played their last district game of the season against the Little Elm Lobos at Eagle stadium.

Little Elm Lobos

Quarterback Thomas Adams completed 8 of 14 passes for 117 yards and threw for two touchdowns.  Adams connected with receivers Kendyl Johnson 3 times for 92 yards scoring two touchdowns, and Derrick Bryant, who had a lone reception for 16 yards. As the Lobos struggled to move the ball through the air in the first half, their run game was a little better, as Semja Jordan rushed for 123 yards on 24 carries, scoring once.

Allen Eagles

The Eagles used all three of their quarterbacks, combining for 19 of 27 completed passes for 207 yards and 2 passing touchdowns. The trio connected with receivers Donnell Gee, who had 3 receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown, Reid Nicholson, who had 2 receptions for 35 yards, Quinton Hammonds, who had 2 receptions for 27 yards, and Caleb Smith, who hauled in 5 catches for 26 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles welcomed back Kayvion Sibley, who suffered a season-ending injury last year vs Guyer.  Sibley started right where he left off as he rushed for 98 yards on 7 carries, scoring on a 63-yard rushing touchdown. Also pounding the ball through the Lobo defense was Amir McDowell, who rushed for 85 yards on 7 carries scoring 3 touchdowns, and Micah Ellis, who rushed for 34 yards on 7 touches and a touchdown.   Lyndon Spriggs also got in on the action, as he rushed for 60 yards on 9 carries, scoring his first varsity touchdown.  Every single Allen defensive player was flying around the field making plays as they only gave up a couple of first downs in the first half and held the Lobo offense scoreless until the second half.

Allen wins easily, 66-21.

Allen will start playoffs next week against Lewisville on Thursday at John Clark Stadium in Plano. The game against Allen was the last game for the Little Elm Lobos, as they end their season 1-8.
