Allen Scores 42 Straight to Beat Prosper in District Play

Prosper landed the first big punch. Allen responded with about six of them.

The Eagles erased a 14-9 second-quarter deficit by scoring 42 unanswered points on the way to a convincing 51-21 district win.

Sophomore quarterback Ty Snell threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns. Two went to Josyah Johnson, who finished with 144 receiving yards, while Zach Williams caught another.

Allen also scored everywhere else. D’Mand Smith returned a fumble for a touchdown after a Jacobie Wilkerson sack, while Dominic Butler added a punt-return touchdown and an interception.

Jrue Simmons rushed for 107 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown.

Allen improves to 4-0 after opening with wins over Duncanville, DeSoto, Southlake Carroll and now Prosper.
