One of the state’s top linebackers will be staying in-state to play college football. Plano East standout Anthony Hines announced his commitment to the Texas A&M. He made that announcement at a ceremony at Plano East High School this afternoon.

According to 247sports.com, Hines was the second highest rated inside linebacker in the country and the eleventh-best prospect in Texas. In his blog post, Hines chose Texas A&M because of his relationship that he built with defensive coordinator John Chavis. Hines chose the Aggies over his other finalists: TCU, Florida, Penn State, Ohio State, and UCLA.
