Hines is a monster of a linebacker, able to play the pass just as well as the run, and be physical when he arrives to the ballcarrier. He’s an A&M commit, and will bring his physical style to a John Chavis defense that was partially known for its physical linebackers when Chavis was at LSU.
Plano East went 6-5 on the season and lost in the first round of the playoffs to Lewisville Hebron. They had a few close losses on the season, most notably to deep playoff teams Duncanville and Allen, and were likely much better than their record showed.
