Jon Edwards stepped down from the position of head coach at Bastrop Cedar Creek on Thursday after spending five years with the program.
Edwards failed to produce a winning record during his tenure despite taking the Eagles to the playoffs in 2015. He had a combined record of 15-36 at the school.
Cedar Creek lost four of its final five games during the 2019 season.
