SPRING – Amateur video footage shows the brawl that happened in the closing minutes of a Texas high school football game between Westfield and Spring Branch.
Other than bad blood between the teams, this was supposed to be a friendly rivalry match up. Westfield was winning the match by a score of 36-25. The brawl broke out when there were 6:18 minutes left in the game. Spring Athletic Director Willie Amendola to called the game, giving Westfield the win.
Last year, Westfield ended Spring’s playoff run so emotions were on edge.
