Benjamin Davis Falcons Get Their Wings Clipped vs Spring
The Benjamin Davis Falcons swooped in with their talons out, looking to steal a victory from the Spring Lions at Planet Ford Stadium on Thursday night. By the time horn sounded, the Lions were licking their chops after devouring the Falcons for a 39-3 win.
It was the Bishop Davenport show under the lights for cheering fans, as he passed for 430 yards and 3 touchdowns and zero INTs. He completed 72% of his passes in the game. Davenport was sacked three times.

Davenport’s season numbers to this point: 2107 yards passing, 22 touchdowns, only 4 INTs.
WR Cadyn Bradley was the beneficiary of Davenport’s TD passes, catching 10 passes for 205 yards, 3 touchdowns. He averaged 20 yards per catch.
WR Braelyn Martin also added a touchdown, after catching 3 balls for 71 yards.
Joey Fussell also got into the scoring act, after he returned a kickoff for a touchdown.
On the defensive side of the ball, Spring was led by Jeffrey Foster (1 INT), Elijah Field (1 FR, 1 tackle for loss), and Bruce Davis (7 tackles).
Since their only loss to Westfield three weeks ago, Spring has outscored their last two opponents 87-3.
Spring improved to 6-1. Benjamin Davis fell to 2-5.
