Braden Mann (Cypress Fair) is going from Aggieland to the Big Apple after being selected by the New York Jets with the 191st overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Mann joins a Jets team that went 7-9 in 2019. Mann is the second former Texas High School Football standout that the Jets drafted after New York took Baylor wide receiver Denzel Mims (Daingerfield) with the 59th overall pick.
Mann had three punts for an average of 43.3 yards in his final season in Aggieland. He was a two-time All-district 7-6A selection at Cy Fair.
Previous to Mann’s selection, the Carolina Panthers took Baylor defensive lineman Bravvion Roy (Spring) with the 189th overall pick.
