Cody Moore announced to his players and staff Tuesday afternoon that he will no longer be the head coach as he was leaving the program to take a similar position within the metroplex.
Per sources, that landing spot looks to be a high school in Plano, potentially the Senior High. Pending board announcements following their regular scheduled board meeting Tuesday night.
Moore led the Bengals to their first co-district championship, sharing that honor with Frisco High, a bi-district championship against Corsicana High, and a near comeback in the late moments of the area round match against Red Oak.
Braswell finished the year with its best record to date, 9-3.
