BREAKING NEWS: Former Episcopal Star and Alabama Leading Receiver Out for Season

Jaylen Waddle, the former Episcopal Knights star, suffered a season-ending ankle injury.  Waddle was injured on the opening kick off against Tennessee.  Head Coach Nick Saban confirmed that Waddle will miss the remainder of the season.

Waddle, a Junior, came into the season as Alabamas leading receiver.  Through four games, he had 25 receptions for 557 yards and four touchdowns.  He is one of the top wide receivers in the country this year.  Though the injury is bad enough to keep him out the season and require surgery, reports are that eh should be able to recover fully.  NFL Draft prognosticators did have him as a possible first-round NFL draft pick if he declared for the NFL Draft. Whether at Alabama next year or in the NFL, despite the setback, the future is still very bright for Waddle.
