NFL stunner: Texans trade QB Brock Osweiler AND a 2018 second-round pick to Cleveland for the Browns to take… https://t.co/A4h8uEKwHA

This move clears up 10 million dollars in cap space for the Texans, and might put them in a position to snag the services of Jay Cutler or Tony Romo.
The move is actually not awful for the Browns, who gain a second round pick, and are reportedly not fully committing to Osweiler, and will try to trade him very quickly. On the surface, this seems like an abject disaster for Cleveland given Osweiler’s struggles in Houston, but if they can trade him for another draft pick, it might end up being one of, if not the, best moves of the NFL offseason.
