One of the biggest head coaching jobs in the San Antonio area and the state is now open.
Cibolo Steele head coach Scott Lehnhoff was named the new athletic director at SCUCISD (Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City) in San Antonio. The move was confirmed in a press release by the school district.
In the release, Lehnhoff called the move “a tough decision” but said he couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
Lehnhoff has been with Cibolo Steele since 2007, first serving as the offensive coordinator before taking over as head coach in 2013. As the head coach, he compiled a 53-7 record in four seasons with the Knights. He led them to three regional championships and an appearance in the state championship game this past season against DeSoto.
