The Bengals turned into White Tigers last Thursday night.
After Cincinnati debuted their new, all-white uniforms in a 27-15 victory over the Miami Dolphins, one of our favorite Texas HS Football mascots are taking exception.
Grandview High School won back-to-back championships in 2018 and 2019. Their mascot is a zebra. They also wore the Bengals new helmets, years before last Thursday night.
In addition to the uniforms, Grandview also runs out of the field, regurgitated out of a giant zebra head with red, demon eyes.
The Zebras — the one in Texas, not the ripoff athletes in Cincinnati — have won their last two contests 68-0 and 70-7 respectively. They put their undefeated district record to the test this Friday (and don their white uniforms) against Gateway Charter Academy at home this Friday.
