There were plenty of great performances in college football Saturday. A majority of those were turned in by former Texas high school football stars. Here are a few of those performances from Oct. 16.

RB Isaiah Spiller, Texas A&M (Klein Collins HS, Klein, TX):
20 carries for 168 yards and one touchdown in a 35-14 win over Missouri. Spiller averaged eight yards per rush.
RB Devin Achane, Texas A&M (Fort Bend Marshall HS, Missouri City, TX):
16 carries for 124 yards, 2 touchdowns in the win over Missouri. He averaged seven yards per rush.
WR Ainias Smith, Texas A&M (Dulles HS, Sugar Land, TX):
Smith caught two touchdown passes against Missouri.
DL DeMarvin Leal, Texas A&M (Judson HS, Converse, TX):
Leal racked up six tackles, 1 sack, and 2 tackles for loss in the win over Missouri.
DB Dwight McGlothern, LSU (Klein Oak HS, Spring TX):
McGlothern had a pick-six to start the 3rd quarter in the Tigers 49-42 win over the #20 Florida Gators.
QB Spencer Sanders, Oklahoma State (Denton Ryan HS):
Sanders was 19/32 passing, 178 yards, and a touchdown, with 1 INT in a 32-24 win over Texas. He also had 1 rushing touchdown.
LB Jaylan Ford, Texas (Frisco Lone Star HS):
Ford had 12 tackles and a tackle for loss in the loss to Oklahoma State.
RB Abram Smith, Baylor (Abilene HS, Abilene, TX):
Smith had a career day, rushing for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 38-24 win over BYU.
LB Jalen Pitre, Baylor, (Stafford HS, Stafford, TX):
Pitre recorded 10 tackles, 1 sack, and 2.5 tackles for loss in the win over BYU.
RB Kennedy Brooks, Oklahoma (Mansfield HS, Mansfield, TX):
Brooks rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries in a 52-31 win over TCU. He averaged 7 yards per rush.
QB Seth Henigan, Memphis (Denton Ryan HS, Denton, TX):
Henigan was 8/12 passing for 215 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 INT in a 35-17 win over Navy.
WR Quentin Johnston, TCU (Temple HS, Temple, TX):
Johnston caught seven balls for 185 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss to Oklahoma. He averaged 26 yards per reception.
QB Frank Harris, UTSA (Samuel Clemens HS, Schertz, TX):
Harris passed for 2 touchdowns and ran for another in a 45-0 rout of Rice.
RB Sincere McCormick, UTSA (Judson HS, Converse, TX):
McCormick ran for 117 yards in the win over Rice.
DB Corey Mayfield, UTSA (North Forney HS, Forney, TX):
Mayfield recorded two tackles and a pick-six in the win over Rice.
WR Joshua Cephus, UTSA (Dekaney HS, Houston, TX):
Cephus caught four passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Rice. He averaged 15 yards per catch.
DB Trevor Harmanson, UTSA (Dickinson HS, Dickinson, TX):
Harmanson recorded a pick-six in the win over Rice.
QB Bailey Zappe, Western Kentucky (Victoria East HS, Victoria, TX):
Zappe threw for 397 yards and 5 touchdowns and 1 INT in a 43-20 win over Old Dominion. Zappe was 37/54 passing, completing 68% of his passes.
