The Highland Park Scots took on one of the best teams in Colorado, the Cherry Creek Bruins. The Bruins went 13-1 last year, and haven’t lost more than 2 games in a season this past decade.
The Scots came in 3-0, looking like a real contender in 5A DI. The Colorado powerhouse program proved to be a bit too much for Highland Park, as they lost 51-39. However, the Scots were impressive in the loss, and the season looks bright for them.
