The Coppell Cowboys came into their first District 5-6A game of the season, looking to remain undefeated and continue their impressive start to the season. In their way was the 2-1 Hebron Hawks. The Hawks were coming off an exciting 34-33 win over Lancaster.
The game was all Cowboys. Coppell dominated in route to a 49-14 win. Next week, they travel for a showdown with the 3-1 Denton Guyer Wildcats. Hebron will look to move a game over .500 as they host the 3-1 Flower Mound Marcus Marauders.
