One of Oklahoma’s two Heisman finalists from a season ago. On Saturday, wide receiver Dede Westbrook was selected in the fourth round by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It was a special season for the star receiver out of Cameron Yoe, who finished his senior year with 74 catches for 1,465 yards and 16 touchdowns. He along with Lake Travis grad Baker Mayfield were two of the five Heisman finalists from this past season.
Westbrook was considered to be a top receiver, but off the field concerns may have dropped him down to the fourth round. Either way, Westbrook officially has NFL home in Jacksonville.
