It’s never a surprise to see a new top recruit coming out of DeSoto. They’ve produced top talent for colleges and the NFL over the years. A DeSoto alumni, Von Miller, might be the most explosive player in the current iteration of the NFL. The latest piece of DeSoto talent is defensive back Gemon Green.

Green is a three star prospect, and part of a very good group of returning defenders for the state title winning DeSoto Eagles.
The road ahead for a DeSoto repeat is going to be treacherous, but if some continuity can be held together on the defense while the offense rebuilds, the Eagles will do more than threaten.
