The Jacksonville Jaguars selected a former Texas High School Football star for the second consecutive day after drafting Colorado wide receiver Laviska Shenault (DeSoto) with the 42nd pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Shenault joins a franchise that is looking to rebuild after struggling to a 6-10 record in 2019.
The former DeSoto star had 1,900 yards and 11 touchdowns on 45 receptions during his collegiate career. He helped DeSoto win a Class 6A Division II state championship.
Earlier in the night, the Houston Texans took TCU defensive lineman Ross Blacklock (Missouri City Elkins) 40th overall.
