SMU just had a monster weekend, recruiting wise. In addition to the two they secured earlier, they added Dickinson defensive back Terry Keys III.

The Mustangs have been in the middle of a recruiting tear for the past couple weeks or so, and the recent commit of Keys is a big reason why. The versatile senior-to-be can punish the ballcarrier as well as defend the pass, and with his 6 foot frame has the potential to be a diamond in the rough for the Mustangs.
For now, Keys will finish his senior season with a Dickinson program that went 10-2, finishing in the second round with a 17-7 loss to Galena Park North Shore. The Gators will reload for another probable playoff run next year.
