Eastlake Key Players and Storylines

There has to be some buzz around the offense with dual threat senior quarterback Julian Williams at the helm. He threw for 2,190 yards and added another 665 on the ground in 2025, earning him the district’s Offensive Newcomer of the Year award.
He’s got plenty of help at the skill positions too with bruising running back Zeke Herrera (519 rushing yards and six touchdowns) and experienced senior receivers Ethan Rivera (401 receiving yards and six touchdowns) and Jordan Reveles (381 receiving yards and four touchdowns), a big-body target at 6’3″ and 190 pounds.

The offense looks in good shape, but that was the case last year when it averaged 38 points per game. The only problem is the defense gave up that amount too and now it has to replace five of its six leading tacklers.
Eastlake will hope to enforce its will in the trenches with defensive tackle Andrew Flanagan (52 tackles and five TFLs). Elsewhere, the secondary returns several playmakers with Rivera (45 tackles) going both ways at safety and fellow defensive backs Noah Morales (44 tackles) and Isaiah Evans (43 tackles).
After every one of Eastlake’s regular season losses in 2025 came by two possessions or less, there’s certainly room to make a jump this season. With a defense that dealt with a lot of turnover this offseason, the Falcons’ ceiling for 2026 likely depends on if they can keep opponents out of the end zone consistently.
