After three months of voting, we have the nominees for the 2023 Mr. Texas HS Football Player of the Year. The nominees are the 15 highest vote getters in our end of season fan-vote polls, and 5 Editors picks. The Editors picks were: DJ Bailey, Hauss Hejny, Caden Durham, Grayson Rigdon, and Terry Bussey.
The Winner will be featured in our magazine, our website, social media, and receive an award. We will also take the top 10 in this poll and rank then in order of their votes, and include that in an article, social posts, and have a link to it fixed on our website.
We have several systems in place to stop any type of “bot” or automated voting. In the event that there is any inauthentic voting, we remove those votes, usually slowly at night. The vote total you see displayed may not be the real-time vote count.
