The names on this list were the most nominated names, chosen by our Fans on Twitter, Facebook, and email. This list is not based on 2022 performance, position rankings, or 2023 projections. This is the fans of Texas high school football nominating and voting for who they think is the best player at each position heading into the season. With that said, at each position, the majority of the players in the polls are players that top the lists of top players/recruits and who are predicted to have the best 2023 seasons.
The Top 4 Defensive Back in total votes will make our Fan Vote Preseason All-Texas Team.
The Top 10 overall vote-getters in our pre-season polls will then compete for Preseason Fan Vote Mr. Texas HS Football. If your player is not one of the top vote-getters in an individual poll, keep voting for them because if they make the top 10 overall vote-getters, they can still make our Preason Mr. Texas HS Football poll.
