In the NFL, sometimes it’s all about finding the right spot and staying in. That’s the case for former Sweetwater and UTEP running back Joe Banyard, who signed with the Buffalo Bills. The move was first reported by Adam Schefter.
Bills signed RB Joe Banyard, CB Leonard Johnson and WR Corey Washington.

Banyard spent the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars after spending the previous two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. He was also part of the practice squad with the Jaguars and the Saints at the start of his career.
Banyard will have to work hard to make the team in Buffalo, with LeSean McCoy and Mike Gilleslee already established as the two main runners in the backfield. That said, it appears Banyard will get his opportunity.
