Frisco Lone Star Alumni Scores SB Touchdown

Roof Replacement from Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal

It nearly happened… twice. It happened on the sport’s biggest stage.

Kansas City Chief and former Frisco Lone Star alum Nick Bolton made a massive play for his team’s defense, scooping up a fumble from Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and running 36 yards to the end zone.

The next strip happened a series later, but the touchdown was voided after the referees determined the receiver didn’t maintain possession of the ball and ruled the play an incomplete pass.

With Frisco Lone Star, Bolton earned District MVP honors twice. As a three-star prospect, he showcased fundamentally sound decisions making and was exceptionally adept at filling gaps. As a senior, he was named District 13-5A Defensive MVP for the second consecutive season, totaling 130 tackles, with 16 tackles for loss, and five interceptions.

Bolton graduated from Frisco Lone Star in 2018 and competed for Missouri. He was a second-round pickup by the Chiefs in the 2021 NFL Draft. He has suited up for Kansas City for two years.

Bolton is currently the only Lone Star graduate competing at football’s highest level. He is also the only Lone Star graduate to claim a Super Bowl.
