Hutto’s Micah Antoun Wins Week 3 Player of the Week Vote

The hippo fans were hungry for a player of the week.

Micah Antoun delivered.

They got one. Hutto sophomore quarterback Micah Antoun has been voted the Texas HS Football Week 3 Player of the Week after a huge performance in the Hippos’ 64-21 win over Copperas Cove.

Antoun completed 11 of 14 passes for 302 yards and five touchdowns. The Class of 2029 quarterback has quickly become one of Hutto’s key offensive weapons after earning the starting job this season. As a freshman in 2025, he threw for 1,427 yards and 22 touchdowns and earned Freshman Offensive MVP honors.

Bryson Fry of Vernon Northside finished next in the fan vote, followed by Tyrin Gatson of C.E. King, Tyler Albert of Prosper, Collins Jones of Rockwall and Ty Snell of Allen.
