Kam Dewberry was one of the biggest prize recruits that all top college coaches were looking to land. Dewberry, the 6’5” 320lbs, stared at both offensive and defensive tackle this year for Atascocita High School. He helped lead the Eagles to one of their best seasons, coming up short in the playoffs to the eventual 6A D1 Champion North Shore Mustangs. Our audience cheered as Kam announced previously that his final schools were all Texas schools. And, he has made his decision:
Dewberry will be an Aggie! And, expect him to start right away and make an impact. The Aggies did have sole holes to fill in the line, and Dewberry along with other recently signed recruits should give the Aggies one of the best offensive lines in the SEC, In fact, both the Aggies and Texas Longhorns are now projected to have two of the best offensive lines in the country.
You can watch his interview with Taylor Arenz after a big playoff win.
Rogers, a 6’4′ 230lbs linebacker, is getting a lot of interest after a great Junior season for Cypress Woods. He just got an offer from Texas Tech, just a few weeks after getting an offer from Kansas.
