Katy’s Bobby Taylor Jr. Out for the Season

Katy Defeats Cinco Ranch to Remain Undefeated

DB Bobby Taylor Jr. of the Katy Tigers suffered a hand injury in week one vs Clear Springs. He has since had successful surgery to repair that injury and will be out for the remainder of the 2021 season.

Taylor, the son of former Notre Dame and NFL DB Bobby Taylor, is a 4-star prospect, according to 247sports.

At 6-1, 180 pounds, Taylor helped lead the Tigers (14-1) to the 2020 Class 6A Div. 2 State Championship with a 51-14 win over Cedar Hill. Last season, Taylor recorded an INT, 2 fumble recoveries, and scored two touchdowns.

Taylor is part of an Aggie recruiting class that currently sits at #9 nationally, according to 247sports, and also includes teammate and Edge Rusher Malick Sylla.
