Lewisville Key Players and Storylines
For each of the past three years, Lewisville has fallen to Allen in the first round of the playoffs. The Farmers are eager to overcome that hurdle this year with 13 returning starters.
They’ve got work to do at quarterback, following Tre Williams’ transfer to Aledo and in the trenches too, but this Farmers team is going to be fast and dangerous with the ball in their hands. No one exemplifies that more than running back/receiver DJ Martin (383 receiving yards and 339 rushing yards), who “can do anything on the football field.” Receiver Landon Brazzell (153 receiving yards) is another speedster in the passing game, while 6’2”, 225-pound tight end Landon Bogany (220 receiving yards and five touchdowns) gives the Farmers a big target to aim for.
Defensively, Tae Mayo (29 tackles, three INTs) is a highly regarded four-star prospect at cornerback, while Malik Sorells (35 tackles, one INT) is capable of locking down receivers on the opposite side of the field. They’re joined in the secondary by ballhawks Aiden Evans and Deuce Mathis (60 tackles, three INTs) at safety. Linebacker Devin Robinson will be Lewisville’s chief playmaker in the front seven after leading the Farmers with 115 tackles last season.

Head coach Michael Odle has loved the discipline and work ethic he has seen from this group. The intangibles are there and so is the skill talent. Lewisville hopes that will be the recipe to finally getting over that first round hump in 2026.
