New Texas High head football coach Gerry Stanford is beginning to fill out his staff and he’s taking a head coach from the Metroplex with him. As reported by Matt Stepp, Lewisville head coach Gregg Miller is resigning to become an assistant with Stanford at Texas High.

Per the Dallas Morning News, Miller will become the defensive coordinator at Texas High. Before taking the job at Lewisville, Miller was the defensive coordinator at Katy. He also told The Lewisville Texan that he wanted to spend more time with his family and that taking this position would give him the opportunity to do that.
In five seasons at Lewisville, Miller compiled a 15-35 record. The Farmers finished 3-7 in 2016.
