Little Elm Key Players and Storylines

With 33 returning lettermen, they are confident a breakthrough is coming this fall.
Offensively, they’ve got a great foundation in the trenches with 6’0″, 250-pound senior center/guard Malik Unuigbey leading the way alongside “nasty” 6’0″, 290-pound sophomore Tristen McCallion. When it comes to the skill positions, sophomore receiver Steven Harper Jr. is a star in the making with offers already flowing in from Division I programs. The Lobos expect playmaking senior Jaylan Finnie to step up alongside him in the receivers’ room, while running back Tyson Paul (296 rushing yards and four touchdowns) is back to pace the ground game.
Defensively, the Lobos will look to set the tone in the front seven with physical linebacker Tyler Paul (52 tackles, 7.5 TFLs) and 6’2”, 203-pound defensive end Zaylen Mosley-Cleveland. On the back end, defensive back Curran Swint (72 tackles, two INTs) is another player who will be in the mix a lot this year, while cornerback Kash Alexander (43 tackles) is a returning all-district honorable mention.

There has been a boost of morale in the Little Elm athletic program after its basketball team won state this past spring. Alexander said that speaks to the talent in the hallways of Little Elm. He believes his guys are ready to reap the rewards of their hard work in 2026 after the struggles of the past two seasons.
