Houston native Cedric Melton signed with Ole Miss on Wednesday after previously being committed to Arizona.
The three-star offensive lineman from Kline Cain was committed to the Wildcats since last June, but made the decision to de-commit in January allowing the Rebels’ new OL coach Randy Clements to hone in and seal the deal.
Melton made an official visit to Ole Miss at the end of January where he got to experience what life in Oxford might be like should he attend. Be expected to see some huge tackles and excellent blocking for Ole Miss from this 6’5, 262-lb stud in the fall.
Melton had other offers from the likes of Houston, Colorado State, Texas Tech, Tulane, UTSA and more.
