National Signing Day 2020: Princely Umanmielen Picks Florida University

In one of the most anticipated selections during National Signing Day the Four-Star Defensive End/Outside Linebacker from Manor High School, Princley Umanmielen, picks Florida University.

Umanmielen decided to take the Gators over Texas, Baylor, and Auburn. Spurning Texas was a huge shocker as the Longhorns could have had an immediate use for this talented pass-rusher.

Earlier in 2019, Unanmielen opened the year with a final list of schools being: LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and Texas A&M. He would then decide on Texas verbally committing to the Longhorns in August. However, in October he de-committed from the University of Texas re-opening the process.

Flordia getting Umanmielen’s commitment will certainly be one of their biggest wins during today’s National Signing Day.
