Off the heals of an American Athletic Conference Western Division title, Navy added two commitments from the Lone Star State on Friday. The first came from Cedar Hill safety Courtney Ogilvie.

Ogilive finished with 38 tackles and a team-leading four interceptions last season for the Longhorns, earning a first-team all-district selection. Under new head coach Carlos Lynn, the rising senior should play a bigger role for the Cedar Hill defense in 2017.
The second commitment of the day for the Midshipmen came from San Antonio Taft running back Justin Stevenson.

The running back finished with 723 yards and eight touchdowns rushing for the Raiders last season. Taft finished 4-6 last season and they’ll look to get back to the postseason in 2017 thanks in large part to the running ability of the newest Navy commit.
The two newest commits are number 11 and 12 for Navy in the 2018 recruiting class. The service academies typically take a larger class than most schools. Navy had 50 total signees and commitments in their 2017 class.
