North Crowley Overpowers Prosper 35-7

Round Rock Hail Roof Inspection

On Saturday afternoon, the Eagles took on the Panthers at the Frisco Star in the third round of the playoffs.

Prosper Eagles

The Eagles could never find a groove as Nathan TenBarge completed 7 of 16 passes for 110 yards and 1 touchdown. TenBarge connected with Lathan Latiolais on 3 catches for 60 yards, Blake Summers on a lone 20-yard reception, and Austin Haily, who netted 2 catches for 32 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles struggled both through the air and on the ground, as Leo Anguiano rushed for only 16 yards on 7 carries, and Peyton Hulett rushed for 7 yards on his one and only carry.

North Crowley Panthers

Chris Jimerson led North Crowley, completing 10 of 23 passes for 127 yards and throwing for 1 touchdown. Jimerson also netted 87 yards on the ground. Jimerson connected with LaMarcus Davis, who caught 6 passes for 92 yards, and Mason Ferguson, who finished with 2 catches for 20 yards. Even though the Panthers had some success with the passing game, they dominated on the ground as Ashton Searl racked up 207 yards on 37 carries, scoring 4 touchdowns. Kiante Ingram added to the rushing yard total as he finished with 39 yards on 7 carries.

North Crowley won 35-7.

Next week the Panthers will take on the Allen Eagles, who have an explosive offense and one of the toughest rushing defenses in the area. Allen is coming off a 52-35 win against Midland Legacy. This Region final will be exciting as the battle will take place at a neutral site next week.
