North Forney running back Ty’Rondric Collins took to Twitter on Monday to announce his commitment to Nevada:

With Collins’ commitment, the Mountain West Conference school has secured their third player from the Dallas area in the 2021 recruiting class. Nevada has five players from the DFW on their 2020 spring roster.
The junior committed to Nevada just two days after receiving an offer and chooses the program over offers from Abilene Christian, Lamar, UTSA and more.
In the 2019 season, Collins ran for 1,228 yards tallying 14 touchdowns helping lead North Forney to a 7-3 season. The 2019 season was Collins’ first season with North Forney after transferring from Dallas Lincoln.
