North Garland Key Players and Storylines
After 2024’s winless campaign, North Garland was able to click off two district wins a year ago. The Raiders made big strides defensively, allowing only 31 points per game, down from the 45 points they allowed in 2024.
Now, the offense will look to follow suit after putting up just 18 points per game last fall. They’ll have some work to do after their starting quarterback transferred. That means the run game will have to shoulder the load early with returning first team all-district running back Jeremiyah Denmark (650 rushing yards and seven touchdowns) leading the way. Up front, center Miguel Macias will need to be the glue after the Raiders graduated two all-district linemen. In the passing attack, keep an eye on the explosive Juju Minor, who competed in the long jump at state track this past spring.
Defensively, the Raiders have their undisputed leader in linebacker Reagan Ndi (110 tackles and 4.5 sacks). Behind him, safety Prosper Chukwu (59 tackles) is a proven playmaker while the Raider coaching staff is excited about the potential of junior safety Odinaka Okolie.

A combination of graduating and transfers means North Garland has several standouts to replace, especially in the passing attack. The Raiders will need some new faces to emerge this fall if they’re to continue their climb in 2026.
