North Shore opened the playoffs with a decisive 56-13 win over Deer Park, showcasing their offensive and defensive dominance. Quarterback Kaleb Bailey started strong, connecting with Deblanc for a 34-yard touchdown on the first drive. Bailey contributed two passing touchdowns and 68 rushing yards before Maryland stepped in and kept the offense rolling.
Maryland completed 15 of 18 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns, including a 56-yard strike to Farrahkan. Deblanc led the receiving corps with nine catches for 125 yards and two scores. The Mustangs amassed 592 yards of total offense while stifling Deer Park’s efforts, holding them to 212 yards.
Deer Park’s standout moments included a 54-yard touchdown from Kieselhorst to Martinez and a one-handed 33-yard grab by Schroeder. Despite their efforts, Deer Park couldn’t keep pace with North Shore’s relentless attack.
North Shore’s depth shone in the fourth quarter, with reserves like Blackshure adding a 14-yard rushing touchdown. The Mustangs advance confidently to the next playoff round.
