In a high-profile showdown on Friday, the North Shore Mustangs (10-0) extended their undefeated season with a dominant 35-10 victory over the Summer Creek Bulldogs (8-2). Ranked sixth nationally by MaxPreps, North Shore showcased its defensive and offensive prowess to halt the Bulldogs, who had scored at least 31 points in their nine prior games.
North Shore’s offense was led by Kaleb Bailey, who put on a dual-threat performance with 175 passing yards, two rushing touchdowns, and a passing touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes. D’Andre Hardeman Jr. added to the attack with 101 rushing yards, breaking through Summer Creek’s pressure.
Despite the loss, Summer Creek’s defense delivered notable individual efforts. Chad Woodfork and Amontre Harris combined for seven of the Bulldogs’ nine sacks, while Josiah Pratt recorded nine total tackles, three of them for a loss. However, their offense struggled to overcome North Shore’s elite defense.
Next week, Summer Creek will host Clear Falls on Friday at 7:00 p.m., facing a team riding a four-game road winning streak. Meanwhile, North Shore will welcome Deer Park on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., aiming to continue their high-scoring dominance as they enter the playoffs.
