Hallettsville beat Llano, 53-28 to advance to the 3A Division 1 State Championship.
Photographer Ralph Arvesen was at the game photographing Llano. He captured a tough playoff loss for the team with intimate photos that make you really feel the emotion of the players The best part is, after the initial emotion of disappointment, you see the team come together, support each other, and hold their heads and helmets up high.
As we celebrate the few teams that win state titles this year, let’s also remember and celebrate all the hard work put in by all players and coaches this year.
