Player Gets Ejected, Charges Back on Field and Assaults Referee

Edinburg High Bobcats player Emmanuel Duron was ejected from the game against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High Bears.  He then charged back on the field and attacked the referee, slamming him to the ground.  Bears players immediately came to the aid of the referee, as Bobcats players and coaches forced Duron off the field.  A cart was called for the referee who remained down for several minutes, but he was eventually able to stand and walk off the field on his own.
