1: What was the highlight of your 2023 football season?
I caught a touchdown pass against our rivals, set up to kick the extra point, raced to the sidelines to grab my tee, and booted the kickoff out of the back of the end zone. That’s the story of my season.
2: What was the biggest challenge you or your team had to overcome this season?
Lost in the last minute of the 4th quarter to our crosstown rivals. It was a hard loss to deal with. We had to regroup as a team. Leaders had to step up and we had to find a way to bounce back quickly so we could finish the season strong. Even though we got second in the district, we dug deep and kept finding ways to win each week, and we made it to the State Quarterfinals.
3: If you could give advice to an incoming freshman football player, what would it be?
Enjoy every second of it, even the grind. Time flies. It goes a lot quicker than you would expect. The true measure of how good you are or will become is how hard you are willing to work when no one is watching.
4: If you could be a Superhero, which one would you pick and why?
Captain America because not only did he have super strength he was a great leader.
5: If you had to go to an island and only bring 3 things, what would you bring?
I’d bring a water filter, a multi-use container to cook or collect water in, and a football. At least that way I would never get bored!
6: If not in the NFL winning the Super Bowl MVP, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Owning a Physical Therapy practice and helping people
7: What is your go-to pre-game pump-up song?
Altar by Hulvey & Forrest Frank

10: Why do you love football?
My dad played football in college, so I grew up going to college games and fell in love with it. I played a lot of competitive soccer as well and eventually learned how to kick a football. What’s not to love about kicking a ball as hard as you can through the uprights with a screaming crowd cheering you on! I think I love football the most, though, because it’s a team sport, and it requires so much more than one person’s talent to win!
